As soon as I saw this interior featured on Yatzer, I knew it was one to share. Located in South Yarra in Melbourne, this Regency-style house was restored and extended over a three-year-long project that transformed the original building.

The result is an elegant home that combines a neutral backdrop with punches of colour in the furnishings and artworks. The wall colours are primarily white and ‘Timeless’ by Dulux, which was specified after being chosen as the perfect hue to complement the art.

The interior is the work of the design practice K.P.D.O. which was established three years ago by Kerry Phelan, previously of Hecker Phelan & Guthrie. I’d highly recommend a scan through the practice’s residential projects – stunning work.

For all that this house is clearly luxurious and glamorous, Phelan clearly favours a very refined sense of glamour, with a focus on beautiful detailing and a lightness of touch. Simply gorgeous.
