COLOUR CRUSH

30th November 2017

I can sometimes feel uneasy when writing about colour – other than grey! – possibly because the list of colours that I wouldn’t personally use at home is considerably longer than the list of hues I would. Anything pink, blue (except navy), red… indeed anything bright, if I’m being honest. Other than a really rich orange, which is my exception to the rule. BLUE MOOD

22nd December 2016

I’ve really missed Copperline over the last few weeks as I had to take a break for work – though the work/blog balance is usually in sync, tight pre-Christmas deadlines left me with literally no head space to write here. So that’s done, and it’s good to be back.

One is the home of the lead character, criminal psychologist Inger Johanne Vik – think open plan living with a blue-toned colour palette against brick, and with the occasional warm gingery accent. Inspired by that blue palette, I headed to Entrance Makleri – always a good place to find a stylish interior – in search of some mellow hues.

GREEN MOOD

10th November 2016

I must admit, it feels strange to be blogging about interiors this week when they’re so much going on elsewhere in the world. It’s been tricky getting my head into blog mode with so much to read, watch, and digest. So I thought I’d share something short and simple – and Scandi!

I spotted this apartment on Gravity Home on Tumblr and headed to Elle Decoration to check it out. Why? Because of the green – this hue just feels so rich and moody. After my previous post on Farrow & Ball’s AW16 wallpaper collection where I mentioned being in a dark blue phase, it seems that the company’s Arcade wallpaper has got me thinking about green.
