It’s been a few weeks since my last International Fridays post and yes, we’re back in Sweden again this week with a modern semi-detached house in Saltsjö-boo, which was featured on the must-read Emmas Designblogg.
The house is being sold by Fantastic Frank, who teamed up with designer Eva Lilja Löwenhielm to style the house, and mostly with her products. I must admit I love the results, and particularly in the way Löwenhielm has softened the otherwise monochrome palette with those dusky pink accents.
There are some great pieces of furniture and lighting too, including the Dot and Illusion cabinet, sideboard and stools, which were custom designed by Löwenhielm for an exhibition for Kvadrat in Stockholm, and (a personal favourite) those fabulous Aim pendants designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Flos – I particularly like the idea of using these pendants as bedside ‘lamps’. All in all, very nice. Very nice indeed.
This property was marketed by Fantastic Frank.
