The agents for this development refer to it as being ‘spectacular’, and while we’re all used to seeing descriptions of properties that are nowhere near as glowing in the photos as the accompanying text promises, this development in Stockholm really is.
This interior exudes cool, contemporary, elegant and beautifully refined design. Just look at the vast dining-kitchen with its dramatic marble-topped island and dining table paired with classic Wishbone chairs by Hans Wegner (a personal favourite and hard to better). This interior manages to appear both luxe yet understated – which can be a fine balancing act.
The development, Postenhuset, is by Oscar Properties, and is situated in the heart of the residential neighbourhood of Östermalm. If you’ve been following this blog for a while now you may recall that I featured another development by Oscar Properties – Läderfabriken, also in Stockholm. Again, the styling there was gorgeous.
Properties at Postenhuset range from studio apartments of around 350 sq/ft to five bedroom apartments extending to 2,500 sq/ft. Whatever the size of the floor plan, you can expect large windows and lofty ceilings, with high quality fittings and materials used throughout. Pretty perfect, right?
